Cameron Park, CA
A coached gym about 12 minutes from Cameron Park
No prerequisites, just coaching. Book any class and a coach will scale it to you. Your first class is free.
From Cameron Park, EDHFIT is about 12 minutes west on Highway 50. Take the Latrobe Road exit, head south toward White Rock Road, and you're in the El Dorado Hills Business Park. We're at 4970 Robert J Mathews Pkwy, STE 120, directly across from Blackstone, with free parking right out front. No garage, no meters, no long walk from the car.
That short hop down the hill puts you in a gym where every class is led by a coach. Cameron Park is one of the towns many of our members drive in from, along with El Dorado Hills and Folsom, and most of them are regular adults who wanted coaching, not a room full of machines.
No prerequisites, just coaching
You don't need to get in shape before you join a class. That's what the class is for. Book any session on the schedule and the coach handles the rest: they explain the workout, demonstrate each movement, and give you a version that fits your body today. Lighter weights, shorter distances and simpler movements are normal here, and a first-timer and a ten-year member can train side by side in the same class.
If you're a true beginner, or coming back after years off, our page on starting as a beginner explains what your first class and first month look like. Either way, your first class is free.
Class times
The schedule is the same every week, so it's easy to plan around work and the drive down 50.
- Monday to Friday: 5:00am, 6:00am, 9:00am, 3:30pm, 4:30pm and 5:30pm coached classes.
- Noon EDH Burn: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12:00pm. A coached endurance session built around running, rowing and engine work, and a good lunch-hour option if you work near the Business Park.
- Saturday partner workout: 8:00am. A team-based workout and the most social hour of the week. Members can bring a friend free, so bring someone from Cameron Park along.
- Sunday: EDH Burn at 8:00am.
Members also have 24/7 keypad access. See this week's class schedule.
Making the drive a habit
Twelve minutes is easy once; the trick is making it automatic. The simplest approach is to pick two or three fixed class times and treat them like appointments. If you work in El Dorado Hills, a 3:30pm or 4:30pm class on the way home saves a second trip. On Saturdays, bring a friend or a neighbor from Cameron Park to the 8:00am partner workout (members bring a friend free), and on busy weeks use your 24/7 keypad access to fit in a session whenever you're passing by.
