What We Are
CrossFit is a fitness program designed for everyone, regardless of their fitness level. It is designed for the activities and tasks you do in the real world. CrossFit is like having personal training, but in a group setting, to make it more fun and engaging. Everyone is there to motivate you and help push you along. You will often do things that you thought that you would never be able to do, so not only does it get you into great physical shape, it increases your confidence immensely. CrossFit is designed to make you more efficient in the things you do day to day, it’s what we call functional fitness. Every day, you bend down and pick things up, you put things over your head, you squat down, you stand up, or you chase after your kids. CrossFit emulates these movements in the workouts, which in turn makes you more prepared for them. We do a mix of weightlifting, gymnastics, rowing, running, and other movements in order to keep your body from adapting. This helps you to get stronger, better conditioned, and in the best shape of your life, faster than any other program out there.
